1. What MissionLog is

MissionLog is a website-building and hosting service for missionaries and their families. You buy a one-time site at $25. You can optionally add a $25 Yearbook that generates a PDF book at the end of the mission.

2. Your account

You create an account with an email and a password. You're responsible for keeping the password safe. If you think someone else got into your account, contact us right away.

3. Your content

You own everything you put on your site: photos, posts, time capsule answers, companion info, all of it. You give us permission to host and display it so the site works.

If your site links to a public Google Photos album, we periodically fetch the album page and read the photo URLs. We don't store the actual image bytes (unless you upgrade to Yearbook). You can disconnect the album anytime.

4. What you can't do

  • Post anything illegal, harassing, or hateful.
  • Post photos of people who haven't agreed to be on your site.
  • Try to break the service or other people's sites.
  • Use MissionLog for anything other than the mission story it was built for.

If you do any of this, we may take your site down without notice and without a refund.

5. Payments and refunds

Payment is one-time, processed by Stripe. We don't store your card details. We offer refunds within 14 days of purchase if you haven't published your site. After that, the site is yours, and refunds aren't guaranteed but you can write us and we'll look at it.

6. How long your site stays up

Your site is hosted for the duration of your mission plus 5 years of archive afterward. We'll let you know before it expires. The Yearbook PDF is yours to download and keep regardless of what happens to the site.

7. We can change this

MissionLog is a small operation and things may change. If we update these terms in a way that affects you, we'll tell you by email.

8. Limitation of liability

MissionLog is provided as-is. If something breaks or goes offline, we'll fix it as fast as we can, but we're not liable for damages beyond what you paid us.
